FAQ

From the past years working with clients I had many questions which came up frequently and were very valid. So I finally deiced to create this section where I will post answers to the most frequent and important questions about my work, privacy, my gear, work flow, booking related etc. If you feel there is any further clarification which is needed please don't hesitate to ask me directly via my email.

 

Q) What makes your service different from other Photographers?

A) Every photographer is unique. A professional photographer who runs a registered legal business takes all the necessary steps to make your session stress free and fun. They maintain a the high level of quality and professionalism when dealing with clients and they own all the necessary gear to capture those memories that are priceless. I have all the traits of a professional and love what I do. I want to make sure you get the best when you invest in my services so I include the following when you book with me and pay the sitting fee of less than 100$

- Location scouting for that perfect session.

- Wardrobe selection advice if requested before the session.

- Session contract/model release signing to protect both client and photographer.

- Peace of mind as we are a registered and insured business.

- Color calibrating one of your laptop displays on request to ensure at least one of your displays shows you the image as it was meant to be seen. This way you know what to expect from your prints when using a 3rd party lab for printing.

- Lightly edited proofing gallery with all of the usable images from your session to make that important selection of which memories to keep.

- High quality photo editing adding value to every image by hand edited them once digital images are ordered after your session.

Q) What gear do you use?

A) Nikon D750 & D600 Full Framed Pro camera with a mix of Nikkor and Tamron Lenses, Studio Pro Strobes and other creative props for newborn shoots.

 

Q) Is your photography business Registered?

A) Yes, I have registered my business with the Leduc Registery Office and do provide receipts on request and also accept Email Money Transfers directly to my business account.

 

Q) Why do we need to Sign a Contract or Model Release Forms before our session?

A) A Session Contract and Model Release Forms are necessary for any legal business to protect you as a client to ensure quality of service, guarantee for receiving your pictures on time, clarification of your rights as a client / model. It also protects me as a photographer and list important detail of the session which I need to adhere to.

 

Q) Do you grantee the quality of the prints if I use a 3rd party printing service?

A) No , I can not grantee the quality of the prints when you use a 3rd party printing service where I have no control over the equipment or process. That been said I do stand by the quality of the digital images I give you as all my monitors are Calibrated. If the printer you are printing with has calibrated their equipment there shouldn't be a problem with the quality of print.

 

Q) When I print the pictures using an online service or in store do I need to  select any additional image enhance or retouch option?

A) No, Once again a Big No. All enhancement and retouching is already done at my end you only have to print the images without any additional enhancement.

 

Q) Why are the printed images blurry or not of good quality?

A) I deliver all my images via a digital download link. Please make sure you are downloading the images correctly via the download button on the page and NOT  by "Right Click" and "Save As" method. This will result in saving the preview image and not the height resolution images for printing.
